FCN Humanitarian Aid Program

Every month, FCN dispatches to and distributes thousands of pieces of new and quality used clothing to disadvantaged children and their families. The organization also sends care packages containing shoes, toys, school supplies and bedding to numerous nursing homes, special schools, soup kitchens and orphanages.

The goal of FCN's Humanitarian Aid Program is to have an immediate and positive impact upon the lives of children and their families. To pursue their goal, FCN has set a very ambitious target to collect, sort, pack and distribute over 100,000 pieces of articles in 2011 as part of their Humanitarian Aid Program.

FCN collaborates with various non-profit organizations with similar missions and objectives to reach its goal. In addition, FCN also enjoys a close alliance with volunteers serving in the United States Peace Corps. Peace Corps volunteers living and working around the world in remote towns and villages, after awhile become acquainted with the regional problems and act as change agents for addressing the most pressing needs within their sphere of influence in the countries where they are stationed. This network continues to expand, making new strides to reach children all over the world.

FCN has partnered with local High Schools to not only further their commitment but also to promote volunteerism and team work in the community. In addition, participating High School students can get credit towards their HS community service objective.
